A literally one of a kind skateboard deck as a present for a one of a kind person. The geometrical structure with its outlines and resulting inner forms is based on the shape of a single character. My vision of the deck only became reality thanks to Marco's (Paperlux) dedication.
The covers of this DIY release adapt the style and artwork of the band's website. Four different collages of technical drawings, copperplate prints and information graphics are printed on greyboard. The fineness and detail of the artwork form an exciting contrast to the materiality of the surface they're printed on. The sleeve holds all the information needed in order to keep the cover artwork as a standalone. A quotation and the band's name are stamped on the CD.
In 2011 the Rugby World Cup is held in New Zealand. This Art Box is a motivational present for the All Blacks players to encourage and support the team on the way to win the title in their home country. This box made out of cherry wood features two different mokos (traditional maori tattoos done by Rangi Kipa), that provide strength and determination. Inside the box lies a book summarizing 12 years of partnership between adidas and the All Blacks presenting overview pictures, comprehensive player statistics and all adidas and All Blacks campaigns. The individual All Blacks player number is printed on the official shirt fabric that we used for the book cover. Embedded in the upper part of this limited and personalized box is a headphone that is upholstered with the same fabric. The adidas and All Blacks logos are printed on both sides of the heaphone as well as laser-etched into the sides of the box.

Together with photographer Andreas Gehrke we created a book that is more of an object regarding the well balanced proportions, the materials and techniques used and the composition of all content.
This seemingly innocent copse of Robinia, a patch of waste landscape colonised by nature right in the heart of Berlin, has born the brunt of history and been neglected by it in turn. Observers who know the site’s background find their view prejudiced by the knowledge of what happened here: Between 1933 and 1945, this plot of land was at the heart of the Third Reich.
With the ‘Topographie’ project the landscape has reclaimed this part of the city and Gehrke’s photographs reveal next to nothing of the man-made traces that it covers. Nevertheless, these photographs, taken in repeat visits over a year, have a powerfully haunted aura about them. They seem to contain all that once was, what is, and what will be, cocooned in nature’s blanket until human history rips through it once again.
An all black & white band website based on one big collage of technical drawings, copperplate prints, illustrations and information graphics. The playlist navigates you through the songs of "Portrait of the young man as an artist" and the corresponding details of the overall art work.

Prototype of an Art Box holding a series of photographs taken by artist Lekha Singh. Inspired by early naturalists who travelled the world collecting images and notes on the diversity of nature, the wooden box holds a number of photographs printed on glass. The bright colored plexi sheets reflect the variety of colors appearing in Singh`s rather abstract pictures of the flower "Bird of Paradise". This handmade Art Box is supposed to complement the exhibition "Out of Paradise".
